Research, educational publications, events, and a service-provider directory for people affected by high-control groups and the professionals supporting them.
An early-stage directory. No audience or referral guarantees.
Before you go
A few reasonable questions.
Can a quiz tell me whether I am in a cult?
No. Our self-check helps you reflect on observable experiences such as isolation, fear, financial pressure, and the freedom to disagree. The score is not clinically validated and cannot diagnose a person, label a group, or determine whether you are safe.
Do I need to take the quiz to find support?
No. The whole directory is open to browse. You never need a qualifying score, a particular belief, or certainty about what happened to seek support.
Have you verified every provider?
We reviewed official public sources and link to them on each profile. We have not independently checked professional licenses, clinical quality, or current availability. No listed organization has endorsed this project.
Will my answers be shared with advertisers?
No. Answers and the result stay in memory in this page while you take the self-check. We do not send them to our server or advertisers. We do not include advertising pixels or behavioral analytics. Your browser and hosting services can still retain records of pages you visit.
Is the directory free to use?
Yes. Reading, browsing, comparing resources, and taking the self-check are free. Individual providers may charge for their services. Confirm fees and eligibility directly before booking.
